Horrible Heads

The projects concept is based on how nature overrides a host, that being of a human, animal or plant based material.

A parasite is an organism that lives on or in a host organism and gets its food from or at the expense of its host. Equally this could also be the larva eggs of a fly feasting on fermented, rotten and decaying carcasses, dead or alive.

The project is not for the faint hearted and is very much exaggerated with some connotation of fantasy and horror. The style was trying to simulate renaissance portraits from the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries in Europe, simplistic and complex details in the array of images can be present, but a common theme throughout can be seen.

Potentially controversial, a talking point for sure!
