For any non trivial sums of XRD, it is highly encourage you to use the Radix Desktop Wallet in conjunction with either the Ledger Nano S or Ledger Nano X hardware wallets. You can read how to use these devices with the Radix Desktop Wallet in the linked article.

Use of hardware wallets is generally considered more secure than software wallets, as your private key is stored in a security chip on a device that does not expose it to the internet. If you do not have a hardware wallet or cannot use one, there is some addditonal advice on how to secure crypto software wallets linked from the introduction article.
